Important Update

August 21, 2015

Dear Madison Staff, Students, Parents & Guardians,

In an effort to increase student safety, we will be implementing new afterschool traffic procedures.

  • Students in grades 1st-8th, being picked up by a vehicle will now exit the parking lot on Michigan. This routine will help us increase student safety.
  • Students walking home, or meeting a parent that has parked and walked up to meet them in grades 1st-4th, will exit the main doors in the front of the school on Mission Road.
  • Students in grades 5th -8th will exit the door next to the auditorium on Mission Road.
  • Our Kindergarten students will continue to wait for their pick up on the grass in the front of the school.
  • In a situation where students are responsible for picking up a sibling, they must exit the oldest sibling’s designated exit area.
  • Students in the portables exiting on Mission will need to use the ramp outside room 1 to enter the main building.
  • It is important to note that parents and students will no longer be able to use the multiuse room to pass between the playground and the main building.
  • These new procedures will begin on Monday, August 31st.
  • Please make arrangements with your student, as we will not allow them to use the office phone until 15 minutes after the 1:40pm dismissal bell rings.
  • All students walking home must exit on Mission Road at their designated exit door.

If you have questions, please contact the office.

Thank You,

Josh Schroeder

Madison Mariachi Performs at SUSD Board Meeting

The Madison Mariachi Band performed at the Stockton Unified School District Board Meeting on Tuesday, March 11 2014.  The Madison Mariachi had the crowd on its feet with an excellent performance! Great job Madison Mariachi!  We wanted to extend a special thanks to our awesome music teacher, Mrs. Smith, for volunteering her time to work with our Madison Mariachis.
